Welcome to Year 2!

Welcome to our Year 2 class page! We are delighted to introduce our wonderful staff team, who will be supporting, encouraging and inspiring the children throughout the year. Together, we will help every child to feel happy, confident and excited about their learning.

Year 2 is set to be a fantastic year, filled with new challenges, opportunities and plenty of fun. Our children will continue to develop their independence, build confidence and explore a wide range of exciting subjects through engaging and creative learning experiences.

An Exciting Autumn Term

This autumn, we have lots to look forward to! In History, we will be learning about Florence Nightingale & Mary Seacole and discovering how their work helped to change nursing and healthcare.

In Science, our topic Animals, including Humans will give us the opportunity to explore the needs of animals and humans and learn more about different life cycles.

We will also be getting creative in Art as we experiment with mixing colours, exploring how different colours can be combined to create new shades and effects.

We are looking forward to an exciting year of learning, discovery and achievement, and we can't wait to share our Year 2 journey with you!
